About Me

Hi Guys! Owner of MaddiCakes here! Baking has become a passion of mine over the last few years, and I am so excited to have it finally blossom into a business! I began my baking journey about 2 years ago while I was a student. I was pregnant with my daughter Estella, who is now 17 months old, and I had the worlds worst morning sickness and often didnt make it to class but rather hid at home trying to survive ha ha. I began developing the most insane cravings for sweet things, which is weird for me because I often dont enjoy sweets. I started baking, experimenting, failing, baking again, and eventually perfecting. I created my own recipes, my own icings, my own designs, etc. It became an obsession rather than a hobby, and eventually with a TON of encouragement and support from my husband, it became MaddiCakes. The name coming from a childhood nickname, and the business coming from a new love for baking.

I am now finishing my degree in Psychology, training for bodybuilding and competing, a stay at home mama to my little girl, a wifey to the most amazing man and a business owner! Feel free to message or contact me about anything else youd like to know!
